Juxtaposition of glaze makes a simple form more interesting. This is a 5 inch by 4.5 inch choice vase. The body is approximately the same width throughout the body and then it has a wide flare at the lip. The inside of the project is glazed in a brown-orange color and the body is glazed with the orange and clear stripes. The contrasting colors of the stripes makes this form with a simple form more aesthetically interesting.
